Worn Out Shoe - CD Release Party

With well over 100 people in attendance, “The Joy Underground” Coffee House sure was the place to be as 9 Feet Tall celebrated the release of their CD, “Worn Out Shoe”.

Host Wayne Williams from radio station “Star 99.1” led the way through a myriad of prizes, ranging from free dinners for 2, movie theater tickets, and pizzas, to free subs, tee shirts, CDs and many other gift certificates from various area businesses. Also given away, to the delight of the crowd, was the grand prize, containing over $100.00 worth of prizes.

The evening opened up with the sounds of Contra-Band, who wowed everyone with their unique rendition of “Wipe-Out”. Next up was Fireseed, who got the crowd singing right along with them. Russ Wills thrilled the crowd with some awesome guitar playing as he sang, “Down Under”. His wife, KT Wills, stole hearts with her captivating singing and piano playing. Then came Dane Lowrie – with the song about his “73 Nova”, which completely lit the room.

9 Feet Tall had the awesome privilege of playing their original music for this special crowd of people, who have supported their passion for music, their vision for hope and their commitment to Jesus. Performing 2 songs from their new CD and 3 songs not yet recorded, they thanked their audience with music true to their goal – music that brings the listener “one step closer to Heaven”.

Release Party Details

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new CD, Worn Out Shoe. After almost 18 months of hard work, practicing, recording, mastering, etc. we picked up our new CD on July 20th! To celebrate this new release, we are throwing a CD release party - and EVERYONE is invited. Bring a friend and enjoy the fun!
